About the Role

I am looking for an awesome Senior Technical Product Manager and Product Owner. This high-impact role is crucial for driving innovation in our Cleantech/Energy & Utilities products, leveraging your expertise in Transmission & Distribution Automation/Control Software


You will be essential in translating complex customer needs into clear, technical product requirements, guiding development teams using Agile methodologies, and serving as a key technical evangelist and pre-sales leader for products focused on the Power & Energy industry.


Location: Fairfield, CA (or) Southlake, Dallas (remote flexible for ideal candidate)

Compensation: $150-190k + bonus

Schedule: Standard


*Travel Opportunity - approximately 25%

*Relocation Package for ideal candidate.


Senior Technical Product Manager/Owner Requirements/Competencies:


  • Bachelors’ Degree with 5 years experience of Product Engineering/ Technical Product Management experience (3+ years with master’s degree) for Power Transmission & Distribution System Automation & Control Software Domain

  • Agile based SDLC experience with enterprise level environments for 5+ years

  • 4 yrs experience as a Product Owner

  • 2 yrs experience in scrum, CICD, and DevOps.

  • Experienced in requirements gathering and aggregation.

  • Experience in digital/software solutions for Electrical Power Transmission & Distribution Industry.

  • Scripting / Programming skills.


Senior Technical Product Manager/Owner Responsibilities:


  • Prerequisites: Must possess strong technical skills and rich energy & utilities industry experience in product engineering/development roles, demanding a mix of management and technical skills to lead development teams.


  • Requirements & Planning: Uncover customer needs and translate them into technical product (functional/non-functional/technical) requirements. Ensure

    requirements are fully understood, and implementation plans match expectations.


  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively with internal teams (developers, engineers, architects, QA) and business operations (Product Marketing Managers, Business Segment Teams/BAs).


  • Market Intelligence: Understand, research, and follow technical trends. Follow competitors and conduct regular technical capability analysis.


  • Support & Enablement: Provide internal and customer training. Answer product capability questions to support Sales & Marketing teams.


  • Risk & Validation: Assess, document, and address technical risks with development teams. Coordinate beta tests and define success criteria for testing/acceptance.


  • Documentation & Evangelism: Facilitate proper product documentation. Serve as a product evangelist and subject matter expert to the technical/developer community.


  • Sales Support: Lead technical pre-sales activities and product/solution demos supporting Sales & Marketing.
